Description
Handcrafted from 100% wild-foraged salmonberries, our jam captures the rare taste of Alaska’s untamed coastlines. Salmonberries—close cousins of raspberries—grow only in select regions of Southcentral Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, and their flavor is as striking as their colors, which range from golden amber to deep salmon red.
We small-batch this jam with more than 50% pure fruit, gently sweetened with organic cane sugar and wildflower honey, then balanced with a touch of lemon and Pomona’s low-sugar pectin. Most of the seeds are carefully strained away, leaving a smooth, luscious texture that showcases the berries’ delicate pulp.
Beloved by Alaskans and sought after by visitors, salmonberries are rarely available outside the state, making this jam a true taste of the wild. Every jar reflects the rugged landscapes of Kodiak Island, Whittier, and Alaska’s coastal forests, where the berries are still picked by hand.
Available in 3.7 oz and 6.3 oz jars.
