The East homestead, nestled a half mile from the Kahiltna River in Alaska’s expansive Susitna Valley, has long been a symbol of the rugged Alaskan spirit. With the mighty Denali towering above, this area has seen its share of pioneers hoping to strike gold.
Today, we honor the land’s legacy by producing our “Kahiltna Gold”—birch syrup. The name “Kahiltna,” meaning “from the source” in Athabascan, echoes the significance of Denali, or “the great one,” as the source of our syrup’s unmatched purity and flavor. Our syrup carries on the tradition of honoring nature’s treasures in a way that respects the land and its people.
