This wonderful Alaskan honey is collected in the vast fields of fireweed near Delta Alaska. Though it is anywhere from 80-100% fireweed content, the beekeeper calls it "Alaskan wildflower honey, as opposed to Alaskan fireweed honey, as you cannot guarantee 100% purity. Some "fireweed honey" is made by boiling fireweed blossoms and adding sugar to thicken. THIS ALASKAN HONEY IS TRUE RAW ALASKAN FIREWEED HONEY, produced by bees - the real thing. It's incredible light but intensely floral flavor is incomparable. We also use this honey in combination with our pure birch syrup in our new "birched-honey". You honey lovers - give them both a try! Comes in a convenient squeeze top plastic container. OUT OF STOCK UNTIL 2008 HONEY IS EXTRACTED - USUALLY AVAILABLE IN SEPTEMBER.
